Robert Choy
Robert Choy is S’GAP marketing director for China. Prior to joining S’GAP, he spent 16 years at PerkinElmer Inc. as Vice President Sales and Service for Asia Pacific and Japan where he led a 180 million USD business in the field of life sciences, analytical instrumentation and airport security detection systems. Prior to PerkinElmer, he was Deputy Director of Marketing Asia Pacific at B. Braun Melsungen AG, a 2 billion USD medical products corporation. He started his career in 1980 as a marketing executive at UpJohn SA (now Pharmacia) a then 1.2 billion USD pharmaceutical corporation.
 

Robert earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. In addition to that, he has also completed several Executive Development Programs at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and at INSEAD. He also graduated with a B.Sc. (Pharmacy) from the University of Singapore and is a Certified Pharmacist licensed to practice in Malaysia and Singapore. Robert, a Malaysian, has lived or had expatriate posting over the past 25 years in Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Shanghai. He currently resides and operates out of Beijing, China, where he has lived for the past 8 years.
