Branding for Asia Seminars in London, Barcelona and Madrid

From the 7th to the 9th of February,  S’GAP’s Branding Platform hosted seminars on Strategic Branding for Asia in London, Barcelona and Madrid.

The events in Barcelona and Madrid were sponsored by renowned institutions such as Casa Asia, El Foro de Marcas Renombradas Españolas and CECO while the event in London was sponsored by the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business

Distinguished participants included José Luis Bonet Ferrer, Chairman of Freixenet, Javier Muñoa, International Business Director of the Barcelona Football Club, Antonio Abril Abadín, board member of the Inditex Group, and Juan Manuel Álvarez Ugalde, Director of the Business Cooperation Department of ICEX.   Guest speaker also highlighted Kelvin Ng, director of Acacia and based in Singapore.

The seminars provided an overall analysis of the many branding and positioning challenges European firms face when entering rapidly evolving Asian markets, and in particular that of China.
